About Outcart
Products compete. You decide the ranking.
Outcart is the live product leaderboard — every boost pushes a product up the board, permanently.
Outcart is a public leaderboard for products you can buy online. Add a product from an online store or marketplace, or Boost one already listed. Products with the most Boosts rise to the top.
Outcart is about products, not websites, companies, or profiles. A listing should point to a specific product page where that item can be bought.
The boards
One Boost can affect every board that includes it. The boards rank products over different periods of time.
- All-time is the main board. Rank is based on all Boosts a product has received.
- Weekly ranks products by the Boosts they received during the weekly period.
- Today ranks products by the Boosts they received during the current daily period.
Products can also be viewed by market and category, so rankings can differ depending on where you are browsing.
How ranking works
- Every product starts with the Boosts it has received.
- Each new Boost adds to that product's total.
- The product with the highest Boost total for the selected board is #1.
- Anyone can Boost a product. You do not need to be the brand, seller, or owner of the product.
- Already listed? Boost the existing product instead of creating another listing.
- Rankings can change whenever another product receives a Boost.
- A Boost only counts after payment has been successfully completed.
What you can list
Outcart is for specific products that people can buy online.
Clothing, shoes, electronics, furniture, kitchen equipment, watches, beauty products, toys, accessories, and other retail products can be listed.
The URL must point to the specific product, not simply a store homepage, company website, social profile, or general landing page.
Different product URLs are treated as different products. Tracking and unnecessary query parameters may be removed when URLs are processed.
Products and links that violate Outcart's Terms of Service are not allowed and may be removed.
Product details
When you add a new product, paste the product URL, then enter the product name, brand, photo, and price yourself. Outcart does not fetch those details from the store.
Each listing includes:
- Product name
- Brand
- Product image
- Price
- Category
These details identify the product on Outcart. Adding or Boosting a product does not give you ownership of its listing or any management rights over it.
Categories
Products are organized into categories to make the leaderboard easier to explore.
A product's Boosts determine its position within the boards where it appears. Filtering by category lets you see which products are leading within that category.
Markets
Outcart has separate markets so people can discover products relevant to where they shop.
A product is submitted to a market and competes on the boards for that market. Availability, stores, currencies, and product URLs can differ between markets.
After you Boost
- A completed payment adds the Boost to the product.
- The product's ranking is recalculated based on its updated Boost total.
- New products become publicly visible after a successful submission and payment.
- Clicking a product or BUY takes visitors to the product URL submitted to Outcart.
- Outcart may display the product's lifetime outbound click count.
- Boosting a product does not give you ownership, editing rights, or control over the listing.
- A Boost is for ranking on Outcart; it is not a purchase of the listed product itself.
Boosts are paid through Dodo Payments, on a hosted checkout page. Outcart never sees your card details and keeps no account for you. All boosts are final. By completing a Boost, you agree to Outcart's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
